Mission
It’s my personal and professional mission to give my clients the best experience that I am capable of producing. This goes far beyond my ability to make a unique piece of art or making a fun video. It means approaching every project with a fun, positive, and professional attitude. I’ll be honest, I like keeping things pretty light. I believe in staying true to yourself in all aspects of life; including work. I think a key to staying consistently fulfilled in yourself as an artist is to not take yourself too seriously. But don’t get me wrong; I consider myself a professional in most respects. My goal is to make your vision, memory, or story come to life. I want to collaborate to make something that everyone involved is proud to be a part of. That means delivering the highest quality product possible.

Services
Writing, shooting, editing, animating, illustrating, photographing; you name it. I certainly don't do everything but there is little I'm not willing to take on as a challenge. Working as a freelance creative in the Lawrence, KS and Kansas City areas has given me the opportunity to work with a slew of other professionals and thus sculpted my passion. Whether it's capturing a memory, or crafting a new one, I'm here to help. Through my occupation and good ole fashion trial & error, I've gained extensive experience in video production, editing, visual effects, motion graphics, graphic design, photography, and even some sound mixing.
Video Production

A true polymath’s gig these days. Shooting, editing, interviews, color, graphics, sound mixing, and many more. Lucky for you, I feel pretty good about each of them. This is also my favorite thing in the world!
Motion Graphics

I have been working in Adobe After Effects professionally for a number of years now. I’m up for anything with keyframes; whether it’s a fully animated video or just some accent graphics.
Graphic Design

Logos, cartoon portraits (see below), trippy Photoshop art, movie posters, your dog as the Mona Lisa, you name it. I also do normal graphics too. Just ask!
Photography

I love firing off a few frames whenever I can. I love doing portraits, events, or even more challenging things like product shoots.

About Me
I'm originally from Western Kansas; specifically Dodge City. For any who might not know, it is the first destination in 1983's National Lampoon's Vacation, it is a REAL place, and it's where the phrase "Get the hell out of Dodge" comes from.
I got my Bachelor's in Film & Media at the University of Kansas. I loved the town of Lawrence so much, I stuck around. Now I work as a Motion Designer for KU Marketing Communcations. I fully believe I have the coolest job on campus and I feel incredibly fortunate to have come full circle with an institution that I love. I've lived in Lawrence since 2011 and love most days here.
What I'm sure is hundreds of YouTube tutorials later, my amateur videos snowballed into professional jobs. School certainly helped but I'd say the true grit of what I do today comes from a self-motivated place.
Working at a movie theatre throughout high school, I loved going to the movies. Lawrence isn't LA and I'm not the Coen Brothers but I still wake up every day in awe of what I'm able to do for a living.
